Kids favorite Yogurt (So Easy)

The other day the kids were dying for some yogurt and I was just not feeling like heading to the store so what did we do… made our own. We made our own yogurt all summer but with the lack of fresh berries we pretty much stopped but I found some raspberries from my parents house in our freezer and the kids were so excited. They ¬†love building their own and experimenting with different flavors. I love that my kids are eating a healthy snack.

On this particular day we had some of besties over for snack and they enjoyed their own creations too.

Here’s Kellen trying to steal Sophie’s yogurt.

Here is Chloe and Wesli enjoying their yogurt.

Make Your Own Yogurt

Plain yogurt (We prefer Greek of the Gods greek yogurt)

Berries and Fruit (We’ve done blueberry, peach, pomegranate, apple cinnamon, pineapple, pretty much any thing)

Sprinkle of Cinnamon

Set everything out in different bowls. I scoop the yogurt into each kids bowl because their eyes are always bigger than their tummies and then let them go to town and put whatever they want. Make sure you don’t forget honey though It’s the best part. and the add yumminess of cinnamon.

Saturdays around this house…

I normally have certain days for certain chores at our house. Monday is always laundry and deep clean the kitchen, Tuesday is usually the adults bedroom and the kids bedroom, Wednesday is the front room and guinea pig area, Thursdays are bathrooms (I save them for last because I despise them) and Friday is whatever didn’t get during the week. Saturday is one of the only days Sam is home to help around the house. After Crossfit this last Saturday we decided to take the kids out to Kiwi Loco (a frozen yogurt place) but first they had to help clean because it had been a particularly rough week here and they have never cleaned so well.

We paired up boys and girls and divided up the house and it worked so great!

I’ve decided to start¬† dividing out chores by what they like to do (I can’t believe I didn’t think of that earlier).

Then after the Kiwi Loco (yum) Wes spent some time with her favorite pets. The guinea pigs and their favorite snack… radishes. Yum!

Hope you enjoyed your weekend.
